I bought this because the product specifically states 1A per port. I have no idea what its really outputting. I do know that whatever it is, it is not adequate to charge my phone most of the time. There have been plenty of nights I have gone to bed with maybe 75% charge and wake up at 0%. Something isn't right.

With all the negative reviews that this is a 1A device, not 2x1A I wanted to mention that I did receive what is described here. 2x1A. Charges two items, for me, without issue.
It's bigger than I expected it to be. The other customer photo with the quarter is a good representation.

I have had this for almost three years now with no problems. I charge my phone and iPod touch on it with no problems. It's traveled all over the country with me and I've had no durability issues.
